Painting He-Man on Battlecat from Master's of the Universe: Clash for Eternia

I am still working through painting miniatures from Master's of the Universe:  Clash for Eternia.   Now that He-man and Skeletor have been painted as individual miniatures, it is time to move on paint He-Man on Battlecat.   I painted He-man almost identical to the last tutorial post and just added some new colors for Battlecat.   Here are the colors I used.

Painting Skeletor from Master's of the Universe: Clash for Eternia

I am picking back up after painting He-Man with one of the best villain's of the 80s.    That would be Skeletor!!   I put these guides together mainly so I can remember how I painted these miniatures, but maybe some of you find it helpful if you get into painting.

In this case I essentially tried to emulate a great tutorial found here:  Tutorial by Angel GiraldeZ.  I did not come that close to this greatness, but it was fun trying!

And you can find a guide to He Man here:   Painting He-Man

Painting He-Man from Master's of the Universe: Clash for Eternia

Recently CMON release a board game called Master's of the Universe: Clash for Eternia.  Inside the game are a bunch of miniatures ready to be painted from the Master's of the Universe world.   I grew up on 1980's cartoons as a kid.  Transformers, Thundercats and He-Man were just few of the shows I still remember watching on TV after school each day.   So when there was a chance to paint a He-Man miniature I just could not resist.

Here is a short guide to how I painted He-Man.  I drew lots of inspiration form many other painters.  I always like to put these together to remember what I did!

For those of you who love the Master's of the Universe, here is the game:

Painting the Umber Berserkers Miniatures from A Song of Ice and Fire

I've been slowly but surely painting the all the miniatures from one of the Game of Thrones: A Song of Ice and Fire starter sets.   So far everything I have been working on is from the Stark House starter box.

First I painted the Stark Sworn Swords.  I put together this Painting Guide for Stark Sworn Swords

Next I painted the Karstark Spearmen.  I put together this Painting guide for the Karstark Spearmen

Now I have working on the Umber Berserkers.   In the end I like to document  the colors I used.  So here is a look at the finished color scheme I used.

So far the Stark army is coming together!

Painting the Karstark Spearmen Miniatures from A Song of Ice and Fire

I am continuing to paint miniatures from the game called A Song of Ice and Fire by CMON which is set in the Game of Thrones universe.   This is the second set of miniatures from the Starks Starter set I decided to paint.  This group of soldiers are called the Karstark Spearmen.  The Karstark House has a large white sun as there symbol and I really liked how these minis portrayed that house symbol on each shield.

Here is the final group of solders painted and based.  You can go back to the Stark Swordsworn painting guide to see those units.

Here is how I painted these minis.

I will be working on the Umber Berserkers next.

Painting The Stark Sworn Swords Miniatures from A Song of Ice and Fire

Over the last couple of years I have started to try my hand at painting miniatures.  I have to say that what I thought was going to be daunting has become a very enjoyable hobby.   Painting takes so much concentration and yet when you finish a model there is always a great satisfaction in seeing the final product.

There are some master painters out there and I can say I am not one of them.  However I so appreciate all the YouTube videos and tutorials available that give inspiration or even instruction on how to paint.  I just picked up some new miniatures to paint and thought I would document what I did both to help me remember what I did and to help give back to any painters looking for some ideas.

The miniatures I am showing come from the game called A Song of Ice and Fire by CMON.  It is a game set in the Game of Thrones universe.   There are a lot of miniatures in the game and I decided to start painting the Starks faction.  The starter set for the Starks has a lot of minis just in the starter set so the first one I am trying are the Stark Sworn Swords.

Here is my try at painting the Stark Sworn Sword minis from this starter set.  This is a game of armies so many of the minis of the sworn swords are very similar, but I will show a couple of the different models available for these Stark Sworn Swords.   Shown also is my very first try at basing miniatures.
